Business Objects

Webhuk manages and maintains information related to your business as instances of objects. Each object type is covered in detail in sub-topics. Go through the overview and choose a sub-topic:

Companies and Contacts

Companies & Contacts are the basic objects that the system uses. A Company object can be a customer or a vendor organization that you do business with. A Contact is an individual customer or vendor that you directly do business with, or are representatives of companies that you do business with.

Branches and Containers

Branch is an integral part of your organization. Every business that is using Webhuk has to have at least one branch -- the headquarters of the business. A Container is one more logical classification of inventory within the branch. That is, a Container is always associated with a Branch.

Webhuk is capable of maintaining inventory on a per Container per Branch basis. Containers are optional and inventory can also be maintained only on a per Branch basis. For example, if you have two branches -- the headquarters and a warehouse, then Inventory is maintained separately for the headquarters and the warehouse.
