Introduction

Welcome to the Webhuk User's Guide Documentation Library. Webhuk is a productivity software suite that provides a process-driven and collaborative method to an organization to record and analyse operational data to increase overall productivity. Go to Features Overview to understand all of Webhuk's capabilities. A business can use Webhuk in multiple configuration.

Getting Started

If you're using Webhuk for the very first time, you need to configure the software via the Setup Wizard.

If you are learning the ropes and have been using Webhuk over the past few weeks then it is recommended getting familiar understanding the User Interface of the software.

This User's Guide is split into sub-topics as summarized below. Click on any heading to get more details.

Business Objects

A definition of all the business objects maintained and accessible in Webhuk. All the business data that's stored in Webhuk is on the basis of these business objects.

Configuration, Security and Administration

This sub-topic describes how to configure Webhuk to suit your business. Configuration is in the form of variables that are set once in the beginning and rarely change in the future. Webhuk's security module comprises of Roles and Permissions to provide Role based Access Control to the users. Permissions to add, edit, delete or administer certain types of business objects can be set individually per Role. Users are associated with one or more Roles, depending on the type of access you would like them to get.

Customer and Vendor Management

Every business object in Webhuk, such as an invoice or a sales funnel is always associated with the underlying basic object: A Company or a Contact. A Company or Contact are sub-classified either as Customers or Vendors. You can also import your customers and vendors from a CSV file (generated using Excel) to immediately start using Webhuk.

Inventory Management

Manage Inventory on a per Branch or a per Container per Branch basis. Define Stock Keeping Units (or SKUs) and move them into or out of your Inventory via Sales (invoicing) or Purchases (bills).

Enquiries, Quotations, Orders and Invoices

Run your business electronically! ...well, almost. The enquiries, quotations, orders and invoicing modules of Webhuk allow you to electronically generate these documents with your letterhead and email your Customers or Vendors directly from within Webhuk. This information is shared amongst your employees who are directly involved with the day-to-day running of your business.

Tax, Accounts and Payments

Generate government stipulated statutory documents required for quarterly, half-yearly or yearly filing. Process & store payments into Customer or Vendor accounts automatically for accounting purposes.

Marketing and Sales Management

Manage your sales teams more effectively. The sales management system of Webhuk uses the Sales Funnel and Callsheet system, visually showing the status of your leads. Ensure no information is missed on follow up or appointments with potential Customers. Manage electronic marketing campaigns with your Customer and Vendor database of Webhuk.
