Reminders
When a task has been assigned to a specific user, Webhuk has an option of choosing to remind the user of the task by email. These reminders are sent to specific users via email close to the due date of the task assigned.
Example: During the sales process when callsheets are created, users have an option of setting a reminder for the next step in the sales process. This reminder is set by the user with a date and time and the user chooses to have the reminder sent to his inbox via email.
Notifications
Notifications are applicable to various elements in Webhuk. Notifications are system generated reminders that are sent out to users as and when due dates for these various elements are nearing or getting closer. These notifications are generated by the system as a means of reminding users about due dates for elements that have been set by the user.
Example: A sale of a product has been made by the business and an invoice for the same has been raised. Payment as per payment terms will be due on a certain date from the date of raising invoice or sale. Webhuk tracks this sale and payment as per details mentioned in the invoice and sends out a reminder to the user automatically on the due date as mentioned in the invoice.
